Session One Warm Up Times:

11:00 - 11:30 KVY and NYCY

11:30 - 12:00 MMD and TCST

Meet Start at 12:00 PM

Session Two Warm Up Times:

2:30 - 3:00 KVY and NYCY

3:00 - 3:30 MMD and TCST

Meet Start at 3:30 PM
 

ALL STAR MEET INFO - FEBURARY 5TH

Each swimmer must pay $10 to attend this meet. Please fill out envelope and put $10 in the safe by Friday.

Warm Up 10:00 AM and Meet Start 11:00 AM

Admission $1 for spectators, Programs $2 and Action Accents will be selling swim merchandise

YMCA NEW ENGLAND CHAMPIONSHIPS WILL BE SPLIT OVER TWO WEEKENDS THIS YEAR:

LOCATION: HARVARD UNIVERSITY

The schedule will be as follows:

Friday March 23 - 15-17 year olds
Swimmer check in 5:45 PM warm up 6:15 PM

Saturday March 24 - 11 & 12 year olds
Swimmer check in 5:45 PM warm up 6:15 PM

Sunday March 25 - 13 & 14 year olds
Swimmer check in 5:45 PM warm up 6:15 PM

Saturday March 31 - 9 & 10 Year olds
Swimmer check in 5:45 PM warm up 6:15 PM

Sunday April 1 - 8 & Under
Swimmer check in 6:15 AM warm up 6:30 AM

The Y State Swim Meet will be March 3 & 4, 2012 at the Wallace Pool at the University of Maine at Orono

Below please find the schedule for warm-ups and events. The events will begin one hour after warm-up begins.

Saturday, March 3: Warm Up/Events

8 & U Girls 7:30 AM/ 8:30 AM

8 & U Boys not earlier than 10:30 AM not earlier than 11:30 AM

10 & U Girls not earlier than 1:00 PM not earlier than 2:00 PM

14 & U and Senior Boys not earlier than 5:00 PM not earlier than 6:00 PM

Sunday, March 4: Warm Up/Events

12 & U Girls 7:30 AM/ 8:30 AM

10 & U and 11/12 Boys not earlier than 11:15 AM not earlier than 12:15 PM

14 & U and Senior Girls not earlier than 3:30 PM not earlier than 4:40 PM

Admission for spectators is $3.00 for adults and $1.00 for students FOR EACH SESSION. Children under 4 are fee. Programs are $1.00 for each session.

There is limited spectator space at the pool. Capacity for the spectator area is 410. Please don't show up too early. The spectator gallery will open at 7 AM on Saturday & Sunday. Spectators will not be let in for the later sessions until the gallery area is emptied from the earlier session. At the end of each session, the gallery will be cleared, before the next group will be let in.

- Please do not take swimmers' bags into the spectator gallery.

- Please do not take up a seat with family bags, ice chests, etc.

- No swimmer is allowed into the spectator gallery unless they pay.


Special PARKING instructions for the weekend. There is a hockey game on Saturday and and engineering expo at the field house during the weekend, so we are asked to park in Jenness Hall Parking lot. The parking lots of Dunn & Sky Box will be closed all day on Saturday and Sunday. Parking Map HERE

There is a logo competition for the AYC where kids all the way up to age 18 can submit and win $500. The deadline for submissions is 3/2/12.

Also the AYC has been selected as a worthy non-profit organization to win a $5000 funding grant from Bangor savings. The selection process is through voting, so if you could go to the following link and place your vote, it would be a huge help!

ON GOING BOTTLE DRIVE ** MMD has bottle accounts at Jokas, Bay Street Redemption Center in Winslow and Oakland Redemption Center on Water Street. Please drop your bottles off at one of these locations and ask that the money be applied to the Mid Maine Dolphin Account. This money can go toward paying some of the banquet and psych party expenses. Thank You!
